  • Describe the telehealth guidelines changes allowed during the public health emergency
  • Identify key requirements for “incident to”, direct and shared/split billing non-physician practitioners (NPPs)

CPT Power Coding 2023

Total Time: 6 Hours

This program meets AAPC guidelines for 6.0 CEUs. Accreditation expiration date: 4/30/2024

We will delve into the global period including coding for pre-op and post-op visits.  Next, you’ll learn how to select surgery modifiers that optimize payment and reduce risk.

Then we will jump into almost 5 hours of surgical procedure coding including code changes in Otology/Neurotology and Facial Plastics.  New for 2021, learn the latest coding, billing, and reimbursement strategies for two new technology in ENT procedures – Eustachian tube dilation and repair of nasal valve collapse with a lateral wall implant. Finally, we’ll end the day with ancillary services including audiology, allergy, and in-office CT.

Learning Objectives:

  • Choose surgery modifiers that optimize payment and reduce risk.
  • Use surgery coding that meets CPT rules and government regulations, for commonly performed procedures.
  • Integrate ENT subspecialty coding principles in otology/neurotology, rhinology, laryngology, facial plastics, head and neck surgery, and sleep surgery.
  • Demonstrate comprehension on how to code for new ENT technology procedures. 
  • Apply new and revised otolaryngology CPT codes into your practice

  2. Log in with the account that you wish to pay through and add desired products to your cart. 
  3. Once you have selected all the desired products, go to your cart. 
    1. You will initially be registered for each product. You can edit this after you have added the additional attendees using the "remove" button.
  4. To add the additional attendees select the green button in your cart titled “Add a Registration for Another User.”
  5. Enter the email address for the additional attendee.  If they have an account their name will populate and you can select “Add Product for This User.”
  6. The attendee's name will appear in the registrant column under your own. 
  7. Repeat this for each additional attendee.
